Quickstart is a two to two and a half hour coaching and mentoring session with an experienced trader. It is practical and can be taken either before the main Forex Training Programme or just after. We suggest you book Quickstart if you have not traded before or want to practise using the trading platform.
What you will learn
Quickstart is about building confidence early in the trading world. You will navigate the FXCM trading platform and charts and learn about order types, as well as how to place, update and close orders.
Quickstart also introduces Skype chat to delegates, with all delegates joining in a practical session, ready to be tutored and supported by Skype calls that are a part of the Forex Training Programme.
Preparing for your course
Quickstart is practical and you will gain confidence navigating the trading platform on your laptop. Consequently, you need to bring a laptop to this session for use during the practical sessions.
During your course
Quickstart sessions are joint coaching sessions run for small groups. We can help with account setup and funding your account during the session if you have been unable to complete this beforehand.
Follow up
The immediate follow up is attendance on the Forex Training Programme or an equivalent programme where FXCM is the broker and Skype is used for support.
Duration: Two and a half hours
Tea, coffee and water are provided. Public sessions are offered subject to availability and as these are always in demand, early booking is advised.
