Trading 101 teaches you how to trade the Foreign Exchange (Forex or FX) market. During three intensive days, you will receive a blend of education and practical work enabling you to trade live in the Forex market as part of this course.
What you will learn
How to trade the Forex markets with the help of a professional trader. The emphasis is on practical skills, with the trading knowledge you learn enhanced by practical sessions. The trading focus for Trading 101 is longer term evening trades, making this course suitable for those in full time employment.
You need to bring your laptop to the training session as you will be taken through the steps to place trades and will be expected trade using your own trading account. This process builds your confidence in continuing to trade after the course.
Preparing for your course
No prior trading skills or knowledge is needed, with the comprehensive education given on this course making it an ideal starting point for your trading journey. Traders with limited exposure to trading, without formal trading education, or consistency in their trading results, should also start here.
You will be expected to open a trading account ready for use on this course. An online training video will guide you through this process once you have enrolled on the course. Allow at least a week to complete this before you course starts.

During your course
This course is being delivered exclusively to you. There is ample opportunity to ask questions and to a degree, personalise the time to you, with content being delivered at your speed. This is what makes the course so suitable for those who have already ‘had a go’.
If you are comfortable with any aspects of the material, we can move through more rapidly, allowing you more time to spend trading. You will be taken step-by-step through the process of installing your charting software and learning to identify trading opportunities in the market.
You will be placing trades throughout the course alongside learning how to manage and close your trading positions. Depending on market conditions, you may also be encouraged to place several short term trades.
Follow up
On completing Trading 101, you must trade the strategies you have learned so that you the gain practical experience necessary to reach your financial goals faster. You can only learn to trade the Forex markets properly by getting stuck in and doing it.
You should consider attending one or more sessions of Coaching 121 a couple of weeks after Trading 101. Trading 201 is the next course to be attended.
